Alpaca wool Hat Napkini: Ethical Fashion with a story

Yes, Peru may be the world’s largest supplier of organic coffee. But that doesn’t mean people usually ask for cappuccino in Lima’s litte side cafés. Fortunately, ANNAMARIAANGELIKA‘s Head Designer had no idea and ordered one when resting her feet from her travels.

This soft winter accessory isn’t only handmade from fine alpaca wool. Its design has a charming story to tell: The owners of the café knocked on their neighbours’ doors for milk and advice on how to prepare their guest’s curious request. When the steaming brew finally arrived, it was served with a proud smile and a checkered paper napkin.

Hat Napkini is an appreciation of this experience. It celebrates kindness in everyday situations that warm your heart for years to come.

I got two hats from this shop-both are absolutely beautiful, warm and cozy. The colors are vivid and just as pictured and give a nice pop of color in the dark days of winter. They’re a little pricey, but are so well made and comfortable, I’ll be wearing them for years. I’m hoping they’ll have a line of spring knits.

This is a lovely item, a bit pricey but made to last for a lifetime and just cheers you up to see yourself with it on. Also doesn´t cause sweating or hurting ears which badly made hats often do.
